On June 4, 2009, Carradine was found dead in his room at the Park Nai Lert Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.[1][2]. The initial police investigation indicated that Carradine had hanged himself using a cord of the type which is used with curtains. Circumstances suggested that the death was a suicide.[1] Early report by crew members stated that Carradine made "suicidal comments" and was suspects of "drug use".

David Carradine's manager Chuck Binder, said he believed Carradine's death was from natural causes, and not from a suicide as reported in the Thai press.

Sky News says his body was found in a wardrobe.. how natural is that?
MOPAR - Move Over Power Arriving Rapidly

Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay My Mopar upon you

You've got to be in a very bad way if you want to top yourself, if indeed that's what happened and it wasn't some strange experiment that went horribly wrong.

Very sad.

You don't tie a soft rope to your dangly bits if you are trying to top yourself Ivor. Which is what the staff and Police were saying before they were told to shut up.

People doing that sort of thing find that the bigger the danger the bigger the "thrill" and it is as addictive as any hard drug. Which is why on so many occasions (and it is quite common) that it accidentally (or even inevitably) goes to far.

The problem with doing that sort of thing in hotel rooms is that you are not discovered by your family so there is no-one to pull your trousers on to avoid the shame.
