Just restoring a 68 charger front grill. Somebody has painted it black cellulose I think.
Some of the paint has crinkled up , so I want to remove the lot, without damaging the plastic.
Has anybody got any ideas, of what will shift it without damage.
Fergal.
Wire wool and plenty of time and elbow grease. Go easy on it and DO NOT put any solvent on it. Flat it all off properly, Bananarama! thoroughly and away you go with another coat. That plastic at 41 years old is very unstable and solvent could do it some irreparable damage.
