Bought it to keep, been looking for one like this for years, but to be honest I'm fed up with the whole scene of late, so will most probably sell her :?


SPEC.........
1964 Comet A/FX 427 Dyno Don Nicholson Replica (all decals are removeable)......rolling chassis was built by noted Thunderbolt restorer Randy Delisio..brand new (400 street miles) pump gas 427 side oiler, Scat forged stroker crank, (482cu") h beam rods, diamond 10.2 to 1 forged pistons, comp solid lifter cam, factory heads, roller rockers, Ford sidewinder intake, 860cfm ProFuel carb, Mallory unilite ignition with crab cap distributor and tach drive, custom built headers and exhaust (sounds incredible), engine dyno'd at 510hp.....C6 transmission built by Gene McLean, shift kit, forward valve body, custom 2800 stall, SCS shifter, rear half has been mini tubbed, 9" ford rearend, 31 spline, moser tru trak posi with 389 gears and 1350 u joint, 4 wheel disc brakes, multi leaf springs, Radir wheels, Hurst Pie Crust cheater slicks, aluminum fuel cell, trunk mounted battery, mallory fuel system, interior is all restored factory with the addition of A100 bucket seats, full interior with back seat, custom roll bar for ease of getting in and out, Moroso gear driven tach, hidden MSD ignition, car has fiberglass doors, fenders, tear drop hood (works off of the factory hinges), decklid, and front bumper....beautiful red paint (has some minor flaws but overall very nice), underside has been finished beautifully...extremely clean and well detailed......car can be driven anywhere...under the carpet has been dynamatted to keep the noise down...dual master cylinder with stainless brake lines and line lock....runs cool with an aluminum radiator, has mechanical fan and an auxillary electric fan...all lights and turn signals work....very dependable, very fast...again this is a professionally built car that is turnkey ready to drive or race or show........far too much to list...no disappointments......you can check out the links http://www.precisionenginetech.com/proj ... fe-part-5/ and http://www.precisionenginetech.com/edit ... s-adopted/ for full write ups on the build

Your not wrong Jeff, thought it might change my mind, but this year just seemed real "off", yeah there's a recession granted, but still just not the same buzz . Even this place has got more boring than an oil rig with a lot of the regulars not here anymore :help:
The Nat's was the quietest I've ever seen it without the normal party atmosphere etc etc.
I was amazed at the lack of post's on the board when I got back from my holl's, normally a board full about the Nat's :sleepy2: .........say's it all I spose.


Maybe It's just me = gettin old ............. :dontknow:

That's a great lookin car Mal! I got to agree with what you said about the Nats



I was amazed at the lack of post's on the board when I got back from my holl's, normally a board full about the Nat's .........say's it all I spose.



It was all over in a flash on here compared to other years. Anyway, you can all look forward to a few pics from me, once CA have published them next month I can put them on my site and you can all take a little trip back to relive the nats ;)
