My Dad worked for Rootes/Hillman all his life and sold these new back in the day. I remember him getting a right strop on 'cos someone had spent ages polishing up the flat black 'bonnet' on the one in the showroom .

You could get a two-door Avenger from about 1973-on? About a year after the Tiger was made I think.
Avengers were sold in the US as the Plymouth Cricket and in some other countries as a Dodge. So yes they really are a MOPAR.
