yep thats true Clivey as nice as it looks & factory appearing , no good if your going to use the car as it should on our roads !! started going down the same route when i done mine !! i mixed up a dark gray 2k formula from the colour map book , that looked close enough , & put 70% matting additive in it , thumped 4 coats on , then coped the factory type over spray ! then a few months later !! decided , with our climate , & was not really looking stock anymore with chassis conectors & torque boxes , plus i sealed up all the seams on the under side , to stop any damp moisture ! sprayed the whole underside in dark gray stone chip , & over sprayed it with yellow , & black stone chip in the wheel arches following the factory pattern looslyClivey wrote:I had 2 pack stone chip put on mine. Mine has a paint run in the boot just below the boot latch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is that "FACTORY".........................( I see the "MOPAR ANORACS"are still alive and well).
Well said CLIVEY if you`re restoring a car, make it better than factory,and do it properly!!!!
