Grrr Brakes

Post by Jeff »

I know it is a newer car... Billy was out in the Grand Cherokee last night, the brake pedal hit the floor! He managed to get it home. Looked this morning, and a corroded brake line was the cause....

Problem is I have one flare nut seized in the rear flexi... I will soak it in
WD- 40 overnight and get some vice grips on it tomorrow.

The salt and the snow play havoc with yer undersides here!
I am keeping this Mopar....... SOLD!

36 hour of soaking and I got it out.... Then one of the local hotrodders called....

Don't bother with WD40! The best thing to use is 50% ATF and 50% Acetone!

Will have to remember that in the future!

So Now on to fitting new lines... Oh and it is -23 degrees. So I have to keep coming in to warm up.
