The plan was to build a garage in our garden but after trying for a year to sort this out it, due to all the utility mains running under our property it turned out not to be a viable proposition. I spent the next two years trying to find somewhere to keep and work on the car while it was squeezed into a council lockup for the duration. This proved to be harder than I'd hoped, Jem told me how he'd written to a dozen or so farms in his area and found somewhere to keep his Charger so I tried the same thing. I wrote to over 150 farms in the area and had zero success. Over the next two years I came close to selling the car on several occasions until finally this summer I found somewhere that was ideal and only 3 miles from my house! Hurrah!!!

I took over the workshop at the beginning of August and after fixing some leaks in the roof, wire brushing and painting the floor

So today I spent some real quality time starting to strip and inspect the car I've had for quite a while (and started to think I wasn't supposed to). I'm hoping to have the car ready for the NATs next year, it's going to be a learning curve for me and I'll try and keep the thread up to date with my progress.

I'll post up the specs of what it is shortly. Cheers!
