Last coupla questions (i hope!)

360 bottom end sorted except;

a) what torque setting is used to attach the windage tray to the special main caps bolts # 2& 4?

b) How is the camshaft end cap fiited inthe block? The core plug set includes a large domed washer and an end plug. It is not obvious how they are fitted!

a) 20lbs/ft

b) you only use one of them, there are two types, replace with the same as you had before. fit the same as a core plug, a VERY thin wipe of RTV sealer aids fitting and sealing.

Thanks Alex, its not obviuos which way round the plug goes, should it fit snugg against the end of the cam?

no, fit it flat side into the engine, sink it about an 1/8th
