Knackered U/J

Post by Rebel »

The U/J on the back of the prop (where it meets the diff) sounds and feels worn. Can anyone recommend the best place to get a replacement or are there any form of rebuild kits available?

TIA

well now youve joined all the race boys ,things like this are gunna happen

Try commerical propshaft @ team valley 0191 4821690, theve done a few yank props for me

when its in bits replace the saddles (u shaped bolts) that fasten the prop to the diff
& jack it up high on the axle to stop fluid running out g/box when you remove prop

Yes I have used them a couple of times.
If you need to supply them with new parts then try Hausers as Geof always has these sort of parts in stock.

Thanks both, thought I'd catch up on a few jobs that need doing while it's off the road waiting for the new ignition switch to arrive, :thumbright:
