dimension windscreen

does anyone knows the different dimensions of the dodge dart and the dodge dart sport? 1967 -1976

got a new windscreen from the states, and it doesnt fit

I am not sure but I think for some reason the 67 dart screen is different to the later ones. They didn't make Dart Sports until after 1969. There is a difference in the two door and four door the for door screen is bigger

I think that there are 3 different Dart screens. One for 4 door models that only fit these. Another for 2 door hardtops that fit 2 door Darts (not Dart Sport or Demon) and 2 door Plymouth Scamps and 67/9 Barracuda The final version fits Dart Sport /Demon and Plymouth Duster. Some of the US sites are not too clear on this. Don't have the dimensions though I'm afraid.

if anybody is interessted...

dart from 67 -76:
(measured in the middle)
about 20,5 inches high
and 54,5 wide

dart sport/duster
21,9 high
53,3 wide

i dont know know if there is another screen for 4-door darts? these two screens are the only i could found for a dart.

Nether does a 2 door sedan fit a 2 door hardtop, the sedan version is taller, if you find one of these I will have it!

68 hard top doesn't fit 68 4 door sedan

well in oz it doesn't

69 and 70 cars in oz used 68 US/canadian body with aussie improvments

another chap on the aussie board in in same circumstances

I have also just found out that a Australian four door 68 Valiant does not fit a US version they are the same height but about 1 1/2 " narrower

So I am now on the lookout for a four door screen

It maybe Jon as yours was the US version the Australian Valiant is defiantly different. The new screen rubber I got for mine, fits the hole in the body but is way too big for the screen

oh er, it would be worth a try Jon, It does list the same gasket (fw691) for the 2 door Dart sedan and the Valiant so it should fit.

I have done a little more digging Jon and can confirm that your glas shoud fit mine as;

1967 & 1968 DODGE DART 2 DOOR SEDAN

1967-1975 DODGE DART 4 DOOR SEDAN

1967-1969 PLYMOUTH VALIANT 2 DOOR SEDAN

1967-1975 PLYMOUTH VALIANT 4 DOOR SEDAN

all use the same glass.

Can you pm me a price and then I will have to try and get it off of you, maybe I could meet you somewhere if you happen to be going to Duncs or something
