RPM rust prevention for bare metal parts
http://www.ecsautomotive.com/RPM/
It comes with a brush but it can be applied with a rag.
RPM is a paste...You have to heat the part up to 120 degrees F. The RPM melts onto the part and turns glossy so you know which areas have been treated. Once it dries, it's invisible.
It slightly dulls the surface but it can be lightly buffed once dry to bring the shine back.
Very handy for correct restoration of parts that were never originally painted by the factory.

Yes, I have drew. Not much yet but so far it does what it says. It worked brilliantly on some trim clips that I just wanted to protect. I thought it might just be like waxoyl (you may not have come across this) but it isn't.drewcrane wrote:Has anybody used it?
I did my steering box in it and the only issue I had was that it was difficult using a heat gun to heat such a big part so that the stuff melted onto it. But I just need more practice.
