Head Liner fitting

Post by John »

Do you have to remove the screen to fit a new head liner?[/b]

No.

It took me & 2 other guys to fit mine.

Ideally the car should be upside down or if you have a trained Octopus helping that will help.

Hair drier and lots of clamps I suggest.

If the pics were still up on my thread you could check out my job.

I can post them again here if you'd like. I'll find the online guide I used which was invaluable if you want?

No worries.

Big plastic clamps to hold the thing tight and a hairdryer to warm the creases out as you pull it tighter and you'll be sorted.

An extra pair of hands to hand wouldn't go a miss either.

Obviously take extreme care when locating screw mounting points for mirrors, sun visors and seatbelt bolts etc.
