Oh yes! Love that!

I've had 3 Capri's but never a 2.8i.
I think I should get one but I quite fancy a mk2 cortina at the mo.

Yep the guy has the original pepper pot wheels under his decking which he is going to get out for me along with a few other spare bits he has in his loft :)

Yes your right Steveo it is a 1983 but is on a private plate at the moment which the guy i bought it from will remove once i have it MOTed so im hoping it will get its original plate back form DVLA :)

I have had quite a few Capri's over the years (still have a MK2 3.0l S) but i got rid of all my mk3 bits when i sold my last one a couple of years ago as i said i wouldn't have another mk3 instead i would look out for a nice mk1 but when i saw this i just wanted it instantly  at least its a good one and i have not got myself another project car as i have enough of them!!!

Very nice! Remember the sales manager when I worked in a factory in the 80s having a new one of these as a company car.... It was awesome. Yours is in fantastic condition! :thumbright:

No its just a 2.8 injection model (not even a 2.8i special so no LSD) the Brooklands 280's were the last Capri's off the production line in 1986
