Oh yes! Love that!
I've had 3 Capri's but never a 2.8i.
I think I should get one but I quite fancy a mk2 cortina at the mo.

Yep the guy has the original pepper pot wheels under his decking which he is going to get out for me along with a few other spare bits he has in his loft
Yes your right Steveo it is a 1983 but is on a private plate at the moment which the guy i bought it from will remove once i have it MOTed so im hoping it will get its original plate back form DVLA
I have had quite a few Capri's over the years (still have a MK2 3.0l S) but i got rid of all my mk3 bits when i sold my last one a couple of years ago as i said i wouldn't have another mk3 instead i would look out for a nice mk1 but when i saw this i just wanted it instantly

at least its a good one and i have not got myself another project car as i have enough of them!!!

Very nice! Remember the sales manager when I worked in a factory in the 80s having a new one of these as a company car.... It was awesome. Yours is in fantastic condition!

My brother if he ever passed his driving test said he would have one of these as his car.

No its just a 2.8 injection model (not even a 2.8i special so no LSD) the Brooklands 280's were the last Capri's off the production line in 1986
