Sound deadening

I have been asked by my body shop if i would like sound deadening installed.

Its some sort of material stuck to the inside of the the panels rear wing, door ect ect to stop them vibrating.

They could then paint over it.

Advice please

Must be what they use in the movies cos theres no way i can have a conversation with the missus in the charger, well thats not a bad thing eh lol,

Personally i love the whole noise experience, true muscle, oh aye and tennis elbo holding the steering wheel lol, by the way mate ive posted a few pics from bodyshop,

I am in the process of deciding on what to use for sound deadening ,

and heat ,so they have this product ,I have a noisey chally and so I want to make our Cuda a little nicer to drive

Will, the factory solution was to spray a thick underseal type material on the inner rear quarters...I used 3M textured stonechip and painted over the top and it worked a treat (and it's not as heavy as Dynomat!)

You can see it sprayed on the inside of the quarter here (though some has been scraped off!)

i thought about dynamat but came to the conclusion "more noise the better". i have to shout at my mates when in my car, its brilliant!

My mate used Dynamat on his 68 Mustang.. Stopped a lot of road noise etc but can still hear engine etc. He did say its worth using genuine Dynamat as it goes on really easily and is easy to work with,

When cheap dynomat gets hot it tends to come unstuck and fall down inside your doors etc.

i took it out of my old track car..

surprised how much it weighs , but more surprised about how loud it makes it!

I wondered why that was on the inside of my rear quarters! Have scrapped it all off now & will be using dynomat.
