No racing for me this year but it'd be nice to see what times everyone else was running.

Ran a new pb of 14.1/95.6
60 foot was 2.03.
My last 4runs were all within a few hundredths
so it was very consistent-shame I didn't
Get into 13s
Not bad for a 318 on the column I suppose. :thumbright:

After the re-map on the Vette I was sure it would have better 60ft times as it feels like it has tons of low rpm torque now.

But the traction control was activating more and my 60ft time was actually increased slightly on last year from 2.059 to a slightly slower 2.073.

But all the other points on the track were up slightly so it is making a little more power. Result was a 13.39 @ 104.32mph which is 0.11 better ET and 1.44mph from last year.

So not a huge difference there but the fuel economy has incressed by a couple of MPG too and it "feels" better to drive so fair enough I suppose!

I did try a run without the traction control on and it was slower than last year. Some better rear tyres would help I am sure. Mine have gone hard as a rock.

Oh and it got me the 250 miles home in 3 hours flat. ;)

A lack lustre 14.2 with a 60ft of 2.0 was my best, bit of a backward leap, but there again I was using road tyres designed for a Suzuki Vitara

Made it back to Cornwall in a little over 5hrs, which included a couple of stops, strangely enough the Vitara tyres are superb on the road

Run a 10.8 at 125, so .3 down and 5 mph slower than last year but droped compression from 12.1:1 to 10.75:1 didn't manage a launch with the trans brake, but i think it will drop my 60ft time, felt really hard but kept red lighting so no times, so glad i didnt brake anything :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright:
