Seat belt diagram needed..aagh!

Post by MilesnMiles »

One of our kind members has donated me a set of Challenger seat belts to fit my Roadrunner. I've just laid out all the parts on the floor and cannot work out how the front set combine to make any sort of sense.
Anyone got a diagram/photos etc to help out?
Can post pics of jigsaw if that helps :?

The "retracting" one goes on the rocker beside/ beneath the seat; that's 2 out of the equation.....

Thanks Pete, thats a start! Nothing comes up on Google at all. Amazing how you can find such technical detail on the 'net, but not a simple image of a set of seatbelts installed!

Is it the "Double" set up?
The Bee has retractor lap belts and separate shoulder belts.....clip the buggers together and see what turns up ;)

You should see my front room.. me and my wife trying to simulate safe seatbelt procedures!!
Brings a new dimension to fetishism i suppose
yes,I think a 'double belt' scenario is correct. :?

I can photo the Bee if you want, but a man of your calibre should be able to sort it out (escpecially now that there is a woman in charge)....

No immediate rush, thanks Pete, we'll get there in the end or at least have some fun trying ;)

I think this is correct, the 2 on the left are rear, the next 2 are the front part that bolts to the transmission tunnel, next 2 are the other half of the rear set, longest ones are the ones that fix to the roof wher the "B" pillar would be if you had one & as Pete said the retractor bolts to the inner rocker. If I'm wrong someone with a better memory or an "E" body will correct.
You can't have too much power, only a lack of traction!
