Basically a parade of vehicles.
Anyone with interesting car van bus bike , cherry picker can join
Teddington gate of Bushy park turn left as soon as you get in
11:30 am sunday
wait on the grass to the right of this thin and winding path until 12-12:30
parade through park to rapturouse applause and cheering
just like you won the FA cup
park up
have a burger
go on the carousel
go home
done it the last 3 years
its just a nice way to spend sunday morning
parade is filled with military vehicles and range of vintage and classic cars
shed lods of motorbikes and the local scooter club.
i followed a 73 porche and a citroen DS last year and had an austin 7 and a datsun 180B behind me.
way infront were 50 odd bits of militray motorised kit, filled with uniformed enthusiasts and a man on a penny farthing
takes about 3/4 of an hour to do the 2 mile route
good laugh
if my car starts tomorrow i will be there on sunday
no sign-up no tickets no arranging just turn up
should have put this up ages ago but forgot
