Always used Holleys for the last 25 years, next time I need to buy a new carb I'm going to try a Demon.

I like Carter thermoquads and Edelbrock Performers. But if I was in the market for a 4bbl these days it would be a Demon.

The Demons get good reviews and look a bit cooler than the Holleys. Neil at USA Imports stocks them, with one on show at the Nats everyone was cooing over it ...

On the other hand Holleys are well catered for at any American parts place.

Trev, Holleys are fine... if you don't mind:-

:( having to drain the float bowls every time you want to change jets
:? replacing the float bowl gaskets every time you want to change jets
:x losing/tearing the little rubber O-rings on the fuel transfer tube
 fuel spraying all over the engine when you adjust the float bowl levels
 replacing the power valve if the motor backfires

...get an Edelbrock Performer
