Trick rad hose

Post by Blue »

I dunno if you guys have seen this stuff before, I hadn't but it could be a solution if you're having trouble finding a rad hose that will work for you (like my bottom hose) not cheap but I think it'll get me out of the chit, I'm looking at the black with rubber ends for minimal bling.

I looked into those back when I was having all the overheating problems and fitted the Be-Cool rad. The internal ribbing worried me about them at the time because I thought it might interfere with flow but I think my worries were ill-founded.

The other factor was the price at the time.

Let us know how it works out.

Fits a treat! An excellent problem solver for sure, the only other way I could have done it was with those preformed silicone hoses joined together with ally connectors, it would have looked terrible and worked out just as expensive. If I still have overheating problems I have found there's a twin 11" fan combo and shroud assembly made by Spal, (they are Italian so there should be UK stockists) this shifts 2700 CFM of air and I can just fit it behind the rad, that's gotta do it.... it looks like this,http://www.fast351.com/fans/images/fans1.jpg

Cheers Guy, that's an option! Twin setup draws 35 amps so I really need to upgrade to that 100 amp alternator I've been promising myself, I'm not even cranking out enough amps to cover the set up I have now, blimey one of these days the spending will stop and the driving will start...

Why don't you guys try doing a "system restore" to a date previous to when your problems started. That often fixes stuff.

Mate, I have tried every possible method of sorting this apart from launching it through the window !

I am certain it is NTL to blame (again) but try working with customer (non)service, all I got was abuse  the tech dept are cool but they can't access my account because customer service have locked it or something, I am niffed right now and looking for alternative solutions server wise.
