Just a bit of advice here but could a block be linered if all the bores are damaged with cracks, looks like it has been stood with water in the bores and frozen and cracked the bores?

thanks Paul.

I think they can but it may not be cost effective depending on what block you have

It will cost you more than the block is worth unless its a super rare

Yes you can but it will be expensive, I reckon it will be in the region of £200 per bore, It will also weaken the block, so it's not something you would want to race with. That looks like something pretty old (early hemi?) so I'd guess the the cylinder bores will be thick which is good. I'd think about getting it crack tested before you spend any money on it, might be cracked some where else that is terminal.

I have to say that the block looks particularly bergarred, but if it really IS that sought after and valuable then Performance Unlimited at York can sonic test a block....
