'65 Mustang Fastback

Post by Trigger_Andy »

New toy, needs a few things doing to it, like getting rid of the insane straight thru Side Pipes.

Got a buddy who owns a really nice Paint shop so gonna put it back to the original colour over the winter. Completely rust free shell, as are almost all Scandinavian cars to be fair. But has a few niggles, ie the heater is bust, the dash lights stopped working when the last owner fitted a Stereo and the fuel Gauge is off.

Will be a fun daily in the Spring thru til the end of summer.

Drove it back from Oslo, 9 hours over night sitting at 150kmh when I could with no bother. Straight to the office, was a long day I can tell ya. :D

Cheers, Ill need something to play with whilst I pretend to ever get the Super Bee back on the road. :D Just past its two year EU Control as well (MOT)

Should be http://1-photos.ebizautos.com/used-1965 ... -1-640.jpg I have a thing for cars being the original colour. Should be a 6 cylinder but has been fitted with a 289. Hence it was a wee bit cheaper than they regularly go for over here.

Hmmm, Im not sure? A buddy has a '65 Soft Top and he has them. You can order them from Resto sites so they must be fairly common I would have thought, although I like the cleaner look without them to be honest.

ah yes, what I meant was they were standard on the coupe and convertible (unless you ordered the pinstripe which deleted them) but never as far as I know appeared on a fastback.
