We've held this event on the last Sunday in May for the past 10 years, I did speak to Donna the events manager at Brooklands last year about changing the date.

There are lots of other clubs out there that are crying out for our date as it's a Bank holiday weekend.

Problem is, there are only a couple of other dates available and they are at a time when the weather is Bananarama!, so it's best we keep the last Sunday in May, it's worked so far.

..and I am not sure if Shakey have announced any dates for 2014 yet.

Both have been the same weekend for the last 3 years........i see no reason why any would change the date.........Both great events just a shame.

Same with the Nats......Quite a few events on the same weekend......That one's a no brainer though! 8-)

Thats the problem of having a relatively short summer in the UK, everything is crammed into a few short weeks. clashes are inevitable.

How about a "VIN Lickers" versus "Slick Killers" Team tug of war at the Nats next year???

We could get hats and T-shirts made and all kinds of Bananarama!!!!
