One of my two cooling lines has broken in the past and was bodged with a bit of rubber

My question is are they all the same across a bodies, b bodies?

Is it best just to replace them with some braided hose and run a separate cooler?

What are the fittings?

Justin, different for different cars. I made some up using copper tube and the original fittings last time around. Used a separate trans oil cooler too.

Separate cooler is always a good insurance policy.

Don't use rubber, I have seen them blow off under pressure at the track

Defo a cooler, means I can use a spare b body rad I have

Don't use soft bendable copper, its too soft and you risk a stone or something flattening or worse cracking it.
Use some large diameter brake tubing

The stuff you want is called kunifer or cunifer, I've seen it spelt both ways, it's a copper alloy. Available in various diameters.

With the proper reducers and adapters you should be able to use the factory lines and at the end use the said fittings ,with a braided hose run that to a cooler and back in line , that is what I have currently
