Post by Mossy68 »

Got to change my ratio in my 742 8 3/4 sure grip as granny launching ain't my thing !
No rush but was wondering if anyone can recommend a top man to do it ?
If poss I'd like to help ( read that as watch !!!). Obviously I havnt the tools to set lash etc so would be interesting to see how its done.
Cheers. Gary :thumbright:

Geoff Hauser can do it.
Bacca built my diff. Runs silent, turns the axles. Which is nice.

Bacca is the man for the job :thumbright: I can pm his details if you need them.

I think he has shown a few people on here how it's done so he can talk you through it

I did my own. I spent a while researching on the net, watched Youtube vids of how to do it, spoke to the guys on here (mainly Bacca!) and mine is silent and has survived a run to the Nats!
This is the link to my thread, though I dunno how much use it is as the pics were lost and it's a Ford 9" ;)
