1969 Dodge Dart

Post by Pete »

I could not resist this car.

Original California Black Plate Car. 1969 Dodge Dart. Small Block (I will NEVER live this down...), Demon Carb, Full auto 727 on the column, 8 3/4" with 489 and 3.55:1 Suregrip, Sub-frame connectors, TTI exhaust complete including Headers and cut outs, Bench seat, new interior, Manual Steering, Manual Brakes, Line Lock ;) ;)

Not a show car (Those who saw it at the NEC will testify to that  it was clearly the runt of the litter, but it was pressed into service at short notice....)

BUT: It Drives superbly, very comfortable and quite nippy.
Useless manual Drum brakes - going Wilwood vented discs.

Also changing the rear axles to 4.5" PCD to match the fronts; so all the wheels and Radial tyres will be up for grabs as a set.
Currently 4" PCD BUT the rears are 8 x 15" on SBP. Fronts are 14" on SBP.

Great to get back into an "A" Body again.....it's the new black, errr.....well, you know what I mean......

Nice car Pete, had a look round it yesterday, i assume it's a 340/360 motor.
As you say, ditch the wheels for something more racey and drive it. If i wasn't too mean to buy them, i would opt for billet specialities, street lites.
