Classic Car Show 2014 and thanks to all for this year!

Post by Ivor »

Sorry being a bit slow to send out my sincere thanks to all those that helped make this years's MMA stand at the Classic Car Show a riot of high impact colour and another success for the club.

Sadly no sooner had the show closed but my younger brother died and the past week has been a bit of a blur, getting things sorted, including his wish that I drive his kids in his monstrous Jaguar Mark 10 at the funeral on Monday...and typical of my brother, the MOT and Tax runs out on Friday!

Anyway, on a brighter note, I have completed the application forms for 2014 and have received acknowledgement from the organisers, so fingers crossed we may actually achieve that goal of having a stand full of wing cars!:thumbright:

Very sorry to hear about your loss Ivor :(

The NEC have changed there act a lot, back in the day when I used to organize this show it would take them up to five months to confirm despite constant badgering , I guess it shows just how big this event has become well done mate :thumbright: I will try and get the time booked off next year and will do my bit on the stand..
