now running sweet .i think the previous owner sold it because they couldn't get it to run right ,its had loads of new bits on the engine .like a fuel pump ,leads .plugs ,and a brand new dizzy ,but if you have a gap on the points big as the grand canyon its not going to ,the best thing to do with a slanty is to pull the distributor out and then set the gap or you will never get it right ,power steering pump leaks bad ,all the brakes seem to work ok ,but i shall fit new wheel cylinders anyway as i found 4 new ones in the glove box,and it needs a silencer, ill use the original downpipe and tailpipe as they are not to bad ,a good look at the suspention tomorrow to see what i need there ,and then off for an mot ,and once its registered ,pull it apart again and fit the stroker

I think the rear brakes had seen better days, rear slaves had been leaking since before 1984 ,so linnings had turned to mud ,all done now with new cylinders and hardware n shoes, also a new exhaust box and tailpipe ,made up by danny at frosts ,and a spot on fit too ,front brakes next week
