Ceramic Coating for Headers and other options?
I need to get the Headers for the AWB coated / finished.
At present they are in bare mild steel. Unsued, so nice and clean.
I have found "Zircotec" in Abingdon, Oxford; and also:
CAMCOAT in Warrington (http://www.camcoat.u-net.com/index.htm ).
Does anyone have personal experience of the companys or can they reccommend other options or other providers?
At the risk of sounding a bit of a cock, I need them to look quite nice as they will be a focal point on the car - and obviously need to work well too!!!
Thanks in anticipation.

Pete,
I had Zircotec coat my headers, great friendly service, really pleased with the finish, and plenty to choose from.
Wasn't the cheapest, but seemed to offer the best for what I needed.
I got nice discount when I told them Andy Frost recommended me, was around £200 off
I would use again...

Regarding Chrome, will help prevent headers going rusty & looking good.
My headers are all stainless, the reason for coating was to reduce under hood temps. The Zircotec I chose reduced temps by 40% & also helps with aiding spent gases...

Pete, this lot are 20 minutes from you in Braughing.
Mark used them for his 68 Mustang and was very pleased.
Your could just pop down there one afternoon now you're retired, and have tea on the green at Westmill on the way back
