Mopar at Ace Cafe

Post by 392HemiGuy »

Am I right in saying that it's the Mopar meet at Ace Cafe on the 29th March?, I've been wanting to go for ages.
If it is, is it any good and can anyone recommend somewhere to stay nearby with some secure parking for the car?, don't fancy trying to do it all in one day.

Guy,
This is the correct date. it used to be called mid summer Mopars and we did fill the car park in the past, but mid summer in March has meant that alot of cars are not on the road for the summer and the weather can be a put off.

The Ace Cafe is a great place to go, but I would suggest it's a long way to go just for the one event which may not pull in the numbers depending on weather etc.

I aim to take the Challenger weather permitting.
It 's just back on the road after 3 months of winter odd jobs - new headers and I had to hand make a new exhaust system to suit, amongst other jobs.
2013 Ace café Mopar meet was poorly attended due to cold weather and a sleet shower...Maybe 3 - 4 Mopars including myself...
Previously attendance was good, the car park was filled.
I think it is all down to the weather, I will play it by ear and decide later in the week.
