Charger has been back in the spray shop

Post by Derek »

I've owned my Charger for just over 20 year now, in all that time and with all the things that have happened to it over the last couple of years the drivers door has never lined up with the rear quarter.

Just before Christmas I took the Charger down to Spectrum in Kent to get it sorted and I'm happy with the way it came out, also had a tiny mark on the front wing that I wasn't happy with so Paul sorted that out at the same time.

I know some of you have had work done by Paul and I know a couple of you have your cars there at the moment, also a couple of you are waiting to have your cars done there, be patient with him, it's worth the wait.

Would be interesting to hear what others think that have work done by Paul and Eric.

First pic is of the door not lining up with the quarter, next one is work in progress and then when finished.

That looks tons better Del, its amazing what a huge difference something like that makes to the whole aesthetics of a car. What was actually wrong and what did they do? As in the first pic it looks as though the door sticks out slightly past the 1/4 in the second pic it looks as though the gap is uneven, but they have stripped back the 1/4 im guessing they have done some sort of modification to the 1/4?

paul made a real good job of the front end of mine after it was crashed through that fruit stall in the name oF ART

it needed both front wings pulled out
bonnet re done
decals re done

a selection of second hand lights restored

the rplacemnet MINT front nose cone was not mint when delivered, infact needed welding and lead loading all over

they streightend the re built the mountings of the front spoiler/airdam

and he restored the allumimiunuim stainless and pot metal concoction chrysler australia calls a grill.

very pleased with the work

colour match is always good

he's an ex pigmnet speicalist from a large Piant Company

also does decals in a robust vinyl with the same attention to detail on the colour.

all good

Carl, door sat out and down, Paul had to play around with the quarter a bit as it had a hit before it came over here, also another hinge as it was badly worn and the realign the door, gap is pretty good all round now :thumbright: .
