Can we please have "CONNECTED" back as a "Hard Copy"???????? It was so much nicer having the magazine dropping on the doormat rather than being able to access/download the electronic version!!!!!!!!

The members that I have spoken to would prefer the hard copy :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright: can we have a poll to see what the club members would prefer?

I know I'm new on here ,but I must agree, I like to read, and turn pages, not read on line.

Maybe it's just an age thing

Well i for one have never even clicked on the connected icon since its inception, no interest in reading it on a screen what so ever,,

Pete is correct, costs just got too much. A poll was done before & we ended up with the online version as 77% of votes were for the online version.

That said I do agree that an actual mag is better. Maybe we can look at this again but I don't know the ins & outs of what it costs etc at this point.

Pete, I am sure that most MMA members would be prepared to pay , say £5.00 a year, to have the "Hard Copy" back.

I would pay a bit extra to have the mag again.

Pete is right, it is a budget thing and we as a club are not alone in going the electronic route. The huge postal price increases were a big factor, and actual numbers of club members is about 300-350, not the 500 of pre-recession days.
Not an easy decision to make as a screen is not the same as a magazine at all, but it was down to the difference between club or no club.

We can review it again.

Why not do one maybe once or twice a year ,maybe as a year in review perhaps, and I would gladly pay the extra postage ,I do kinda miss the mag.

I prefer the mag too and don't mind a rise in membership fees to pay for the mag.
