Some coppers are just fools to themselves. The authority goes to their heads.

As far as I am aware, musical horns are legal on pre 1973 cars.
But you must let the whole lot go, not just 2 or 3 notes.

Try telling my kids that. They cant go near the charger without wanting me to "press the doodoo ! Press the doodoo!". What sad joyless little jobsworths those policement were - such a shame for the 99% decent ones.
I got followed off the A1 after the hooks cross meet once by a police volvo. Pulled alongside me - I thought "Here we go". Ignored them for a bit then eventually looked right. Both cops big thumbs up to me then roared off. :)

Anyway. Dixie horn fitted and proud of it. I am 12.

Well If I were the guys sat in the back that have paid ££ for the big day I would be sending in a written complaint to the chief of police!

Option 1: Check he has regular horn and advise him against future use!
Option 2: Ask him where the venue is, if close follow as not to interrupt the biggest day of someone's life!
Option 3: Ignore the noisey film car that is fully road legal and go and find someone who is properly breaking the law, driving without insurance, theft etc (my choice).

Completely mishandled by a jobsworth!!

We had a wedding here a couple of weeks ago,a Gatwick airport fireman. Somehow he got an in service fully operational, with all markings, airport fire engine to deliver his bride. The full blues/twos were used on the public road as he approached our place. Technically illegal, but who cares on someones special day?
Too many jobsworth coppers out there trying to meet imaginary "crime" targets.
