He must have collected, he gets a mention in this eBay ad:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DODGE-CHARGER ... 46369a6685

"We sold this very same spec car from Sweden to Matthew in Manchester, but in blue, within 24hrs of posting here on ebay (but not mint!) He collected it last week leaving here a very happy man (see last picture)."

There's a pic of the car on the trailer too...

lol - Im back !!!!!

Wow what a bloody long Journey and glad to be home i can tell you :)

The car is back at my house and will be going into the bodyshop for a full paint job in the next 48hrs. Car was exactly as explained - if not slightly better. Few little things that need sorting ( play in the steering / exhaust blowing ) and a few other minor items.

I landed in Rotterdam Thur morn at 8am and drove none stop to Sweden arriving at 1am on Friday morn. A small ferry trip was involved ( Germany to Denmark ) I managed to find a lovely hotel that gave me a room for the night. A warm shower / brandy n coke later i hit the sack and woke up at 7am. I jumped back in the Touareg and drove to Mattias's garage and the deal was done by 11am.

Mattias ( seller ) was very honest and trustworthy. I had researched the car prior to the visit and knew a little about it. All the questions i put to him came back with exact and truthful replies. His friend Tim who carries out deals with Mattias was also a real Gent - i would recommend them to anyone and they have told me they can get more cars if anyone is interested.

So i loaded the car up and set off back to Rotterdam at 11am Friday arriving there at 2am Saturday morning. I stayed in the "Hotel de la Touareg" in a very comfy camp bed, woke up at 10am saturday morn and watched a couple of DVD's till 5pm which was the boarding time for the ferry. The ferry left at 8pm and i landed back in the UK at 8am Sunday morning. I arrived home at 11am to my beautiful baby girl / my little lad and the Mrs of whom I couldnt wait to see.

I unloaded the trailer and took it down a country lane for a bit of a blast. The noise is phenomenal and the shear presence of the car is awesome. The play in the steering definitely needs sorting and there is a slight blow on the exhaust. The fuel gauge isnt working and one of the vacuum operated headlights is a little tired - all easy fixes !

Pics to follow

No - I want this car to be perfect or as close as possible. There is zero rust on the car - its solid underneath and very very tidy. Im having the car professionally painted ( inc door apertures / boot / eng bay etc ) and I think I will refurb the wheels but maybe invest in a nice new set later in the year ?

The interior doesnt need touching but I am going to replace the carpet and get the "8 Track" restored.

The steering wheel also needs replacing.
