Rear drums - Replacements needed (??)

Since my previous MOT man is no longer in business I went along to another 'classic friendly' local place - all went well until the voice under the car says "these rear drums are cracking" and that was the end of that.
Having taken the wheel off, this is what I find (pics below).
The major part of the drum looks fine - the corrosion seems all on the inside edge, and that looks more like a dust shield than a vital component (?).
Anyway, replacement drums seem available for $60-$80 in the US, but thats not much good here and now.
Any suggestions welcome!

Ahh, forgot the size. I assume they are 10" but I need to check.

God only knows how those drums got so bad. Never ever seen a drum like that before.

Dunc could be yer man for replacements though!

Failing that, try Phil440. He has just had a rear disc conversion done. He may well have a set to sell.

My old Aussie Charger was like that on the rear drums too. Probably worse than that. The outside would scab off a lot. Eventually they got so thin there was a danger of them flexing.

I had a pair of 11" drums that were not too bad. I might still have them?

Thanks for the offers guys, but I still don't know what size it is - I can't even remove the drum. I released the parking brake and thought the drum should slide off over the studs with a bit of persuasion. Ha Ha Ha.
It says in the manual -
"Remove rear plug from brake adjusting access hole" - can't see any sign of that.
"Insert tool C-3784... engage notches of brake adjusting screw..." - not a clue there either.
"Remove clips from wheel studs that holds drum on axle. Remove drum." - no clips that I can see.
The manual was obviously written for someone who's done this before or at least has some aptitude for this stuff. No pictures of course. Too obvious I guess.
So - all I've managed tonight is to measure the outside dimensions of the drum in case that gives anyone a clue. The smaller outside diameter (closest to the studs) is about 10.5". At the rear (where its rusting through) its about 11". The depth of the smaller section is about 1.75" and its 3" deep in total. Theres a number (35536) stamped on the front face of the drum but even that doesn't look like a mopar part number...

Bottom of the backplate there will be two slots, may have plugs may not, a bit awkward to see but they are there.

AKA a flat screwdiver of the correct length

"Remove clips from wheel studs that holds drum on axle. Remove drum." - no clips that I can see.

Forget it, there will be no clip, back the adjuster off and the drum will fall off

Dave bring it over on saturday and we will strip it here.also i haveny forgotten i still need to call you about that disc but been really busy.

Thanks again guys. I didn't hammer on the drum too hard because it seemed strange that even though the wheel turned freely there was no sign at all that it would move laterally. (My usual technique would be to gradually reduce it all to scrap

and then find there was a circlip or something still hidden away

)
Will - I'll call you to order some new drums for the long term.

I'll also put an ad in the 'wanted' section to see if I can get some replacements before the weekend.

That part of the drum is only the dust lip ,being an animal I would be out with the angle grinder and slice off the rusty lip.

I bought 10" drums from a well known UK supplier, a lot more than Will is charging. Go Will!

Update - Followed the Instructions of Alex. Drum came off no problem. Went round it with the angle grinder. Cleaned and repainted it. Back on and indoors before dark. Easy when you know how. Much happier than last night.
Hope the other side is as straightforward.
After I'd got all the brake dust out (coughing emoticon needed here) it was obvious that the drum, shoes, seals and so on are all pretty well gone so shopping is next but hopefully this will be enough to MOT it.
