Engine stand needed

Having rebuilt my engine and got it running OK

I decided I did not need the stand anymore so I sold it on eBay.

Aaargh. I have an oil leak needs sorting

so the motor is coming out again next week and I don't fancy trying to redo the seal from the underside with the motor hanging off the crane and dripping oil on me.

Does anyone nearby have an engine stand I could borrow for a couple of weeks, please? If not, I will buy and sell a new one.

I would collect and return it in as good or better condition so no worries about me damaging it. Pls PM me.

I think I have a spare that will support a BB.

I am near Royston - they dismantle but you will probably need 4 x 4" x 3/8 UNC bolts to attach the block to the stand.

Thanks Pete. I will wait a bit, see if anyone closer makes an offer. I have the necessary attachment bolting.
