aeroquip/speedflow/torques

Post by adrianp »

Hi,

What's the deal with aeroquip/speedflow/torques/earls/goodridge type AN fuel fittings ? Are they all pretty much the same or is this a 'Aeroquip only and accept no substitutes' answer ?

I'm running Aeroquip at the moment and may end up doing a little more. I'm not looking to cut corners but just didn't realise there were so many similar vendors out there - they pretty much even look all the same.

adrian.

Speedflow quality is in my opinion the best but it comes at a significant price.

I have used Speedflow and Torques quite a lot and would happily use both again.....

I've used Speedflow for many years but have more recently started to use Torques. Happy with both and to be honest I've not come across any poor quality AN fittings at all from any company over the years.

I noticed the -AN Hoses from Torques were not the same quality - looser weave and more prone to fraying but again it is significantly cheaper and still good service.

Torques for me, speedflow are very expensive, they even have a premium rate line for just ordering, how greedy is that ?
