Hi, my drivers door has been great with no drop at all. But today as I opened the door it felt stuck, I gave it a pull and can feel it dragging somewhere. I think it's on the end of the ally sill plate. Is there a way to adjust the door to take any drop out?

Maybe pins could help, the passenger door I knew had a drop, but that didn't catch so I was ignoring it. But this new drop on my door is annoying.

Autofetish, I would get the book even being wrong year. But have you seen how much it is! £10 is the Kindle version.

It'll be the same as mine.
Open the door far enough to get at the outer bottom hinge bolt.
Tape the edge so you don't damage the paint and loosen the bolt.
Take the trim panel off to access the two inner bolts.
Put a jack under the door and just take the weight. Loosen the 2 inner bolts slightly.
Jack the door up and retighten the 2 bolts, bearing in mind it'll drop a bit once you lower the jack.
Try it and repeat if necessary.
Next job is to get yet big screwdriver out and adjust the latch receiver.
That's just trial and error :thumbright:

Thanks db, i can give that a go, just need to my head around which the inner and outer bolts are? When you say trim panel, is that the kick panel next to the foot brake?

That's the one. One crosshead screw in the middle, you'll have to loosen the ally doorstep trim too, forgot about that!

When you open the door look in the gap between the door and front wing, you'll see one hard-to-get-at bolt.

It would be a lot easier with two pairs of hands but I didn't have that option, the jack worked fine though. Just jack it slowly and gently.
I measured as I lifted so I knew how much play there was.

Ah ok, I think I have it. So open door and between wing and open door from outside there is one bolt. Then from the kick panel on the inside there are two bolts. I do these three to adjust door?

I'm hoping it will be an easy adjustment as its only dropped a few mm, just seems to be enough for it to wedge on the car when it's shut. The passenger door feels like it's got more drop and has had since I've owned it. But that side doesn't catch so I've ignored it.
