hi all,have got a set of champion plugs fitted at the moment, <rj12yc>want to change plugs for the ngk.pete did send me a link for these,but i am still not sure which ones will be best for my engine.recently had the engine fully rebuilt,all stock.rebore was done at 40.msd distributor ,4 barrel carb,thanks again,mick

Ive used NGK BPR5S and Autolite 85 plugs with no probs in my stock 68 hi po 383 in my Polara:thumbright:

thanks steve,will get a set of these,have just found out that the front oil seal has started to leak on the auto gearbox,it was ok before.just when i thought it was all sorted,but thats how it goes with old cars.thanks

Are you sure it is ATF or engine oil?

One of life's rules - always change the convertor seal when the engine or trans is out.

I bet those "engine builders" have not got the rear main seal in leak free...

hi pete,its atf what is leaking,yes your right,didnt think about changing it at the time,the only good thing is i can use a 2 post ramp to pull out the gearbox,if i dont get any problems it will be done in a day.and will change the filter and oil.you live and learn,hope fully ;)
