Can anybody id the problem here, oil in No 1 exhaust branch not external no expert but could it be a crack in head at an oil port. :cry:
Bottom pic shows engine running and tapering colour change top pic engine turned off but oil always there not burning off.

or brake fluid from the res maybe?

I can't really see much on the photo.

I assume 440 R/B?

The only place oil goes up under pressure is on one of the Rocker Stands, whilst there are several drain back points, just under gravity.

I would have thought that would be some way away from the Header pipe.

Are you absolutely sure it is not a Rocker Box leak, they can be deceptive...

Nun of the above I think will check again tomorrow,with the engine running it wont burn away the oil no oil anywhere except on that branch think i'm goin bonckers. :shock:

:oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: With the long journey home from the HRDs the rocker cover breather had picked up some oil with back pressure and dripped oil onto exhaust.
