leaky Crankcase Ventilator valve

Was having a "gander" under the hood this morning after having taken a spin and shock-bloody-horror, I see oil in neat little puddles on top of the block. I also notice that my once clean air filter is looking a tad grey and that there is a small oily patch on the inside of the hood.
After checking the underneath of the car and the current oil level after cooling all I can seem to put this down to (and it would make sense) is a father ill-fitting conection to the crankcase ventilator valve - I've seen so many different versions but mine is a simple loose press-on rubber cap style with a hose connection above it ... I guess under load this must've popped off. It's also really easy to pull off.
Can someone recommend a good fix, or a suitable alternative for the 340ci V8 ? I know it's not going to kill the motor but I'd like to nip this in the bud before my entire engine bay has a fine dusting of oil.
Thanks in advance
