Duster Update

Hi Guys, been a while.
Garage extension finally completed, laid floor tiles and moved model railway before rescuing the Duster from my mates house.
Have removed dash components to replace original wiring loom.
Speedo was not working and have contacted Adrian Sidwell in Radstock but have, as yet, had no reply. Has anyone had a speedo/gauge checked and who did you use?
Also, would like to get the ammeter modified to a volt meter so that all original instruments work.
One of the dash light components was missing, any one have a spare that I could purchase?
As work progresses I shall start a thread on the Workshop Forum.
As this appears to the final year at Shakey will try to get to more events and, hopefully meet more Mopar owners.
Regards
Arthur

They are not cheap but very effective way of covering large areas.
Having a friendly local builder who took me to the merchants, put them through on his trade card and we loaded them into his lwb Transit to get them back to my place............Priceless!!

Good old Celotex?
I have just put about £2k's worth in the cottage extension, but works well.
Great car

Yes Pete, it is Celotex. Bit pricy but very effective. Garage now warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
Just as well, I think I shall be spending quite a bit of time out there!!

nice ,what sort of tiles have you used, was thinking of doing my floor in something rather than paint

Hi Terry,
I have used Dyno Tiles mounted on closed-cell plastic underlay. The underlay contains any dust produced, insulates and stops the 'clack clack' as you walk on them.
Easy to clip together and a little washing up liquid on each connector means you don't have to resort to GBH with a rubber mallet.
Good online site.

and I soppose if your floor gets dirty ,you could always run a duster over it ,,lol ,,hmm I looked into the rubber matt ones like that ,but I don't think it would agree with me wheeling cars around on the trolley jack
