I'm plumbing a Mini heater into the Belve. Where do I connect the pipes?

No, just one outlet on the intake.
I'm assuming I use the 2 outlets the black pipe is connected across but I'm not certain.

unless the ports in the pump ares seperated it wont flow round hence you need to pump it into another part of the system

I've sussed the problem now-
One heater pipe goes on the water pump pipe I currently have blanked off, the other should go on the manfold. Unfortunately my M1 inlet manifold is missing the heater hose port so I have a problem... My only option is to install a port, somewhere...

yeah

you want pump water to shift water through

and a take off from the head or a thing connected to the top of the motor somewhere near the spout for the radiator connection

hemi 6 has pump connector and a pipe barb into the side of the head by the radiator spout

can't remember which way round the pipes go

the heater works a slight bit better one way from the other, I'd suggest it makes very little difference but do flush out the heater core both ways if its sat in a shed for years the remnants of the last time it was in use will be gunging it up.

Bananarama! through with neat antifreeze then connect it to the hose

1 pipe from near the RRE branded thingo to the heater
and 1 pipe from the heater to where the current pipe goes should see you right won't it. why is you pump connected to the block via the manifold across the top?

why does your water pump have 2 outlets?

was there a fail safe or something on V8 pumps for if the stat gets stuck

I get lost with that bit, was it for a trans cooler radiator or something?

but basically you just need some moving hot water in the heater and no bubbles or air locks

and you need a circuit of fat pipe from big pump outlet to rad and from rad to top of engine at the thermostat spout

yours has more and I don't understand why?

this is possibly because V8s are not a thing I understand

My pump is from a different year to the motor, my rad is aftermarket as is the inlet manifold, and the stat housing is a Trev item.
I've seen pics of stockers with the little link pipe the same as mine and the rad connected pretty much how mine is. It certainly cools the motor fine so no worries there.
I just had another look and there's a spare temp sender port (visible in the pic) next to the stat which I think I can use. I have a couple of fittings with the right thread so I should have that sorted now... Phew!
I'm thinking the pipe from the pump to the heater should go to the bottom of the matrix to help flush airlocks up n out.
