The present is turbos I reckon, the Mopar guys were very late to the party.

Very true, typical lack of after market parts / knowledge / investment / testing.
Minority brand.
EVERYTHING seems to be BBC these days, cheap and available.

It is, and as usual Mopars only answer to that is the gen 3 hemi and you don't see those being tuned to death and retro fitted wholesale. If I build another car, turbo small block or gen 3 would definitely be considered.

Hard to argue with... and EFI as well I know you like your carbs but esp with a turbo just seems EFI is so much more straightforward. There is quite a bit of Gen 3 support now....orders of magnitude less than LS of course but that's just like the old school SBC & SBM all over again!
