I use a Samsung Tab 3 Tablet mostly , every time I come on MMA Site ,wether its the Forum or other , its Minute , I have to keep open pinching the Screen to make it larger

Is there a Setting that puts it to a normal size permanantley?

this forum is not optimised for mobile devices

as in if you go to bbc.co.uk you get a completely different layout on a mobile than you would on a pc, it is optimised for mobile devices so you can read it on a smaller screen

but for MMA this doesn’t happen, you get the same layout on a mobile and of course it is tiny

you would need to use a third party app such as TAPATALK, but MMA is not on the list …

Im no help Doug but this reminds me of a problem my friend Dave from Idaho had when he got a computer in his State Farm Insurance office in Preston some years ago. Now, Im not saying for one minute that this relates to you Doug, its more in line with my efforts to be honest, but Dave told me that the conversation went a bit like this when the technician (and friend) had exhausted all efforts over the phone to get Dave computer literate....

"Dave"

"Yes"

"take the monitor and put it in the box it came in..."

"OK"

"Now take the keyboard and put it in the box...."

"Ok, thats done...."

"Now take the hard drive and all the other bits, and put them in the box......because you are just too stupid to have a computer!!!"


I still laugh to this day when I think of Dave telling me this story...good luck Doug

Im not quite that bad lol, but thanks anyhoo, looks like its a case of putting up with it.

IVe got a quite new Lappy, but use the Tablet lots more, in fact its rarely fired up, Although its a Lappy its kept in its own place all the time
