Fitting proportioning valve in brake line

Post by Rebel »

Hi all,
Do I have to fit the proportioning valve in the brake line that goes from the distribution block to the back of the car or, can I fit it in the rear line from the master cylinder ( the one that goes from the master cylinder to the distribution block ) ?

I would install it after the proportioning valve and in the line that runs to the rear brakes. Not tried it the other way and it may work, but I would personally do it the other way. You can mount it so that you can adjust the bias from within the car.
