fuses for A-bodies

Post by Valcuda »

Calling all you A-body owners, where do you get your glass fuses from?

I use a 7.5A one for the radio and 20A ones for the other five. Halfords do these (actually 8A and 20A) on-line in silly packets of 2 but is there any place better where I can get some spares in larger numbers, say, packets of five or ten?

(These days, it seems glass fuses are rare items, everybody uses blade fuses now in cars!)

I Bought mine from halfords, they were ok price i guess, especially being able to pop over and pick them up isntead of waiting for them to arrive.

I Think with mine, the dash lights are 3amp, which they only seem to stock online, so i got them delivered next day to the store. 5-30amp fuses seem easy to find, but the 3amp isnt as common

You're right, the dash light fuse is 3A, I'd forgotten that!
