headlamp switch removal tool

Post by Valcuda »

I'm sure some A-body owner has removed his headlamp switch before now. The manual says use a Chrysler tool C-3824 but in the past, I've used a circlip pliers with the detachable right angled prongs reversed. But I wonder if anybody has successfully made a tool for this, eg out of a box spanner? I've seen a B-body tool on sale in the USA (on-line) but I don't know if it fits the A-body bezels.

the push pull thing left of the steering wheel?

Yeah I've had mine out. Even harder to get to after some idiot decided it would be a good idea to put a full cage in the car :D
