Thanks for the warm welcome

Post by Slowhand »

Newbie from the land of Hert-Ford Mustang here. I joined MMA at the weekend, received three 'Connected' mags, my membership card & welcome letter with a note from Matt (thanks Matt) that the Herts & Beds meet was on the 9th at the 3 Horseshoes, Hooks Cross - which is pretty close to Hertford (where we are).

We knew nobody but we were made very welcome - thank you guys. We still have a lot to learn about the black art or MOPARiary but its fascinating and we are learning fast! :)

I'm currently the Hertfordshire Area Sec for the Mustang Owners Club GB and a moderator on the MOCGB forum. Have to say that, like Mopars themselves, this forum works quite differently but the steep learning curve is being slowly ascended.

I may have attached a pic of our Mustang coupe restomod that we completed in late 2014 (possibly? only clicking 'submit' will tell) and we're still looking for the right pentastar product. (Anyone selling a '70's Challenger?).

Look forward to meeting more of you guys (& girls) in the future and to the summer when the cars are out in force.....and especially the EuroNats which is a real blast - never miss it.

All the best, Roy

Thanks - and its almost a Mopar too! :) - The colour I went for is "Prowler Orange" and I wish I had £1.00 for every time someone has asked me what colour it is!

Hi Roy, good to see you and your better half last night.
Good luck with your search for a Challenger.
If you decide to come along to the Xmas meal send me a pm or just reply here or on the Xmas meal thread on the 'Events' section.
Cheers,
Stu.
