I am sorry that you feel that you have had a bad experience.

I am more than happy to have a chat to you about any issues when I get back from the NEC car show, or feel free to send me a PM if you prefer

I think somehow Walder hasn't been able to experience the best of what this site has to offer. Folk on here are extremely helpful on many topics - sometimes it takes more than one post before your request lands on the right ear .... but eventually it does.
Walder, don't consign it to the bin just yet, repost your needs/questions/queries and someone will speak up, even if it takes a while.

I think you might be referring to your request for help with the vac set up on your carb

Responses may be a bit slow as many of the members will be at the NEC this weekend. Plus at this time of year quite a few cars will be tucked up for the winter

It's not a case of nobody wants to help, more a case of just being patient.

We've all posed questions at some point that don't always get a rapid response or limited responses.

Having said that many many many members have had all sorts of questions and queries advised and resolved.

I'm sure someone will be able to help

It's nice that Justin and Pete are being so polite, but firstly you posted in the wrong area, secondly Terry gave you an answer ( and he knows his stuff) and third you could write in proper English.
Before you slag off the site, have a bit of patience and be nice. Otherwise why be here?

Bye & careful the door doesn't hit you on the way out ... :D :D

As said above this club can be very helpful, but you have to have some patience. There is a reasonable amount of traffic throughout the site, but will never be like Wikipedia where answers are instantaneous.

Again, I thought Terry gave a good response, based on the limited information provided.

Totally agree, not only was it a good response but he also asked where you were and offered to come round and take a look! What more do you want?!?

The great thing about this forum & a few others like it, is that you will generally only get replies from people who actually know what they're talking about, not some Bananarama! who thinks they know everything. So one reply from someone (i.e. Terry) is worth more than sifting through 4 pages of drivel from know-it-alls.
Guess we won't be seeing you at the Mopars then?

Always helps to post pictures too. At least people know what you're on about. Especially if your grasp of english is not the best...

Forums like this work by people taking the time to add content and help each other out, signing up with the club is no guarantee of either. The vast majority of members do not choose to actively take part in the forum. That's fine, it's their choice how they use it. But for them to complain about the forum that they don't take time to add to or help steer in any particular direction is a bit rich don't you think? You seem to fall into that particular group, so prove me wrong and get involved a bit more. This place is just like life, you tend to get out of it what you put into it.

search function is also quite useful.

wondering how you got on with your springs and tracing the history of your car.

4 posts and a few comments since April would indicate that you are not really getting the best out of your forum account or indeed providing any feedback to those who offered help.
